What are LifeGroups?

LifeGroups are friends you grow, laugh, and serve with. They’re the people you invite into your life…letting your guard down, growing closer to God, and investing in your community together. This is an environment where you can be “real”, and where you will be prayed for, cared for, and missed if you don’t show up. These groups are led by an individual or by a couple and usually have 4-16 people who meet regularly in someone’s home, in a coffee shop, at a park, or at a business.  LifeGroups may include studying God’s Word, applying the weekend messages, studying a book, or watching a DVD series while discussing the issues and challenges of life. These LifeGroups play a vital role in caring for people as they grow spiritually in becoming fully devoted followers of Jesus. God never intended for His people to be “lone rangers” in the body of Christ. These groups are made up of individuals or families attending MJLife Church. Unchurched individuals/families are also welcome to attend LifeGroup meetings.

How can I connect with a LifeGroup?

Finding or starting a LifeGroup works a lot like making new friends…you’ll look for (or maybe even start) a group that seems compatible and then work on getting to know each other. If you are interested in getting involved with a LifeGroup, please check out the LifeGroup list at the information table for times and locations. If you have any questions, or are interested in leading a LifeGroup, please contact Kert Scott at lkscot@msn.com or 616-566-3621.
