MJLife Church in Mt. Juliet is not a church like most people think of when they think “church.”  “Church as usual” is a hard habit to break, but we’re trying. It takes a little extra work in listening, caring, and thinking outside the box.

One thing that we try to do is to meet people where they are  and  try to encourage forward motion…. kind of like Jesus did when He walked the earth. We live in the same community, have the same struggles, and we’re asking the same questions that you are.  We’re a group of people from many “walks of life” that gather together to serve and worship God. We’ll go ahead and admit it: Some are close to Him, others want to get to know Him better, and others are just checking things out for now.

If you’re looking for the perfect church, that’s not us. Past experiences of those representing God and pretending to be perfect is what turned us off in the past. Maybe that’s your story too.  Maybe not. Wherever you are in your walk with Christ, we welcome you.  Instead of focusing on what you wear, how much money you make, or the home you live in, we focus on getting to know Him better and helping other people do the same thing. We’re all in this journey together, so we want to do life together.
